Padmini Jadeja, MS, PT

“I love working as a physical therapist as it gives me the chance to be a big part of a patient's healing process and improve their function while developing a strong interpersonal relationship with them and their family at the same time.”

Padmini was born and raised in India. She grew up in a competitive academic school and was heavily influenced by her parents' own hard work and success. She also wanted to help people and became interested in physical therapy when she was 16 years old when her father was prescribed physical therapy treatment for his frozen shoulder. She was fascinated with the idea of relieving pain and improving function while making meaningful changes in patients' lives. It was then that she decided to dedicate her studies to pursuing a bachelor's degree in physical therapy and a post-graduate degree in Rehabilitation. After finishing her in-patient internship in India, in 2008, she obtained her master's degree in health care and hospital structure in 2010. She moved to the US in 2011 and eventually planted her roots here, in Southern California.

Padmini joined HBPTS in 2015 while she continued her lifelong study of Physical Therapy concepts by taking additional classes at the University of St. Augustine and the University of Boston. It was through her time at HBPTS that she honed her skills through multiple classes at USC on lower extremity injury management, as well as courses on pathology and treatment for the shoulder, elbow, and pelvic floor, to enhance her manual skills and knowledge. Her quest for knowledge enables her to utilize the current evidence-based practice techniques to get her patients better faster; with fewer visits needed. She is passionate in her commitment to motivating patients to reach their goals, restore optimal function, and improve their overall quality of life. Her innovative treatments ensure each session remains productive.

Padmini values a one-on-one, hands-on approach and is dedicated to providing individualized, quality care to her patients. She prides herself on the use of evidence-based practice to guide decision-making to reach the best possible outcomes with her patients. In her spare time, Padmini enjoys outdoor activities, particularly hiking. She also enjoys Pilates and spending time with family and friends. When you get to know Padmini, you will notice her creativity hat is always on, as she spends lots of time crafting DIY projects.
